Membership:
We ask that singers have the ability to sing in tune and have a basic understanding of musical notation. Previous experience of singing in a choir is also helpful. You will be invited to a trial period of a couple of rehearsals followed by a short session singing with our MD to see whether your voice is suitable, if you can keep up with the pace of rehearsals and what voice part you would go into. Our fees are currently £150 per year which works out at less than £4 per evening.
**CURRENTLY A WAITING LIST FOR SOPRANOS AND ALTOS** Sorry, we have had to temporarily set up a waiting list for Sopranos and Altos as we bursting at the seams at our rehearsal and performance venues.
We are however open to Tenors and Basses - please email our Membership Secretary on [email protected] for more information or to ask to be put on the waiting list. Singers do move away or leave for many reasons so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
Our rehearsals take place at the Sawpits Centre. Richmond Road in Towcester every Tuesday evening 7.30pm in term time. We are a friendly bunch and would be happy to meet you at the door or arrange for someone to come with you it you are a bit nervous about coming.
