CONCERTS AND FUNDRAISING DECEMBER 2012
Our annual Christmas Concerts took place at St. Michael & All Saints Church, Bugbrooke on 4th December and at Towcester Town Hall on 11th December. The program included many well known carols and seasonal songs, with musical arrangements varying from John Rutter to Irving Berlin. Appreciative audences were encouraged to join with the choral singers in a number of traditional carols. Helen Swift, the societies Musical Director was on maternity leave so Tim Dolan, the society's resident accompanist, conducted the concerts. As an additional treat Helen's husband Jonathan French, renowned professional concert pianist, teacher and coach at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music, provided the keyboard accompaniment and John Bickerdike supplied additional support on the trumpet.
