2013 Gala Concert St Mary's Banbury
Saturday 11th May saw the Gala Concert in the LiveArts spring series. Two contrasting groups were performing. Towcester Choral Society conducted by Helen Swift and accompanied by pianist Jonathan French, who’s program contained many favourite tunes from screen and stage. Their performances were alternated with spots from Chapter 5 acapella group who treated the audience to an electic mix of pieces from Handel to traditional folk songs. The venue looked superb as the back drop to the brilliant performances and the small but very appreciative audience created a warm atmosphere.
